To make the 100 Anniversary of International Women’s Day, Ministry of Women Development is interested in compiling BOOK ON PAKISTANI WOMEN IN THE 21^ST CENTURY. Individuals, Advertising agencies/communication firms, having credible reputation are professionally sound, experienced and well versed with modern data collection, compilation, editing and printing techniques, are invited to submit their proposals latest by 30^th August, 2010.

TORs

Ø  At least five year of demonstrated work of International standard on writing about women’s issues, art and culture

Ø  Formal qualification in Literature, Humanities with focus on women’s empowerment

Ø  Thorough grasp of the South-Asian history, working knowledge of national women machineries in Pakistan, and women’s political & social struggle in Pakistan

Ø  International and national experience of having formally worked for women’s advancement in Pakistan

Ø  Excellent proven writing skills in English; deep understanding and knowledge of Pakistani Women in all walks of life 

Bids may be submitted latest by 30^th August, 2010.

a.             Name of the organization telephone/fax number and contact person.

b.             Income tax Registration, National Tax and GST number

c.             The admissible taxes will be deducted at source.

d.               An affidavit that the firm has never been black listed by any department/Organization

e.               Submission of any false statement/documents including concealing of any information is likely to disqualify the bidder.

f.             Ministry reserves the right to (accept or reject) any or annul all the quotations as per PPRA Rules.
